glass *****

made you look!! i noticed a new sound today. it really does sound like two glass ***** hitting each other. it sounds like it is coming from a pulley on the passenger side. it does it all the time. driving or idleing. any ideas? thanks.

when you rev it up, it will get louder for a second and then go back to "normal" noise. it does not have a pattern.

Sounds like spark to me. Try not to get the crap shocked out of you looking for it. Check battery terminals, the battery ground to the block, and the connections on back of the altenator first.

Look for it at night in the darkest area near you. You should see it easily if that's the problem.
