I am installing LTs from Hooker and I am going to try to install Flowtech Purple Hornys header mufflers on the car, I am drilling them for O2s and they are the 3 inch ones with turndowns.
Anybody try this?
Anybody think of any reason I should not do this? besides it being ghetto.
no crossover is the only drawback I can see. And I will be able to keep my Gload brace.

 

I did something like that for 3-4 days while waiting on my exhaust after long tube install.. And well.... It was REALLY damn loud and annoying.. Every piece of my car rattled. I was happy when I got my exhaust on.

 

Actually I am doing this as a stop gap before the exhaust shop does my true dual setup but was wondering if it works why I could not keep it.
