Getting the To make 383 stroker.

I spun a rod on my 95 Z Lt1. I am gonna pull the motor and make it into a 383 stroker I would like some input from anyone on here who has done this. Is it a pain in the but to get the Lt1 out ? it sure looks like it. I want a motor that will at least push 400 or more horse any advise from you guys on the best way to do so. just looking for some pointers. Thanks Guys!!!

400 flywheel? 400 Rear wheel? Street /Strip car? Daily Driver? Forged or Cast/Hyper ? How big is your bank account?

Of course you're going to run into issues that are a PITA, but that's part of it. If you don't want that then pay someone else to do all of the labor. If you have the money to throw at it, you can easily make 400rwhp.

Search around here to see what setups other people have used for their strokers. 94z above has a pretty sweet setup, but it'll cost you.

You dont need a stroker to put you past the 400 flywheel or to the wheels. A good heads/cam setup will put you there easy.
