I have one maybe for sale...

I have one maybe for sale... for a "collector car" price...

ALL STOCK, 19K original miles, leather, 6 spd, BOSE, power everything.

Perfect cosmetic and mechanical condition in/out.

What's it worth to you?

OH, and the most important feature...

I have so much paper work you won't believe it! Every document to prove its authenticity and all maintenance work as well. No accidents ever.

It is purple with black leather. No t-tops. A very rare car indeed.

Only 310 B4C's made in '95 - don't know for sure but - I bet less than 3 6-spd purple w/ leather B4C's exist - none in better condition than this one.

Seriously, if anyone is interested, I might sell. Please let me know. I have too many hobbies and not enough time for all of them.

Email me at rlk911@ameritech.net .

A B4C with leather? How'd you manage to get that one, considering leather was never an option on B4Cs.....

Leather is an option just like "B4C" is an option?

My car is 110% authentic!

Come look at it! I'm in the Chicago area.

It was on there a week or so ago and was supposed to of sold.
It's listed as a B4C, but if you look close there are Z28 badges front fenders and rear below the trunk.
I wrote to the guy and he said it had been used in police service, which DOESN"T mean it is a B4C!
I asked him to verify the door code as B4C but never heard back from him.
It well may be a B4C but If I was really interested I sure would check it out.
Make me wonder why it didn't sell 1st time.
Just info for all the B4C nuts, like me.
What do you think UHP Camaro?????
Well it's gone again. Had a bid of $5k and the buy it now was $10k. Reserve was NOT met. Go figure!!!!!

I don't think B4C's ever came with leather. I'm pretty sure that all the 94's and 93's had the camaro badge on the side. When i bought mine, all the early years had the badge, and the 95's they had didn't.

Sorry, leather wasn't an option on B4C models, and neither was B4C. The B4C package was only an option given to law enforcement agencies- FBI, CIA, Police, etc. B4C isn't even a mentioned option in GM's ordinary sales brochures.

But if I'm ever in the Chicago area, I'd be more than happy to meet up and check out your car.

If in fact you did get a B4C with leather, by some extremely strange chance, I would definitely hold on to that car.

It's a B4C with leather

Thanks for the lesson but I know what a B4C is.

Mine is a M6 B4C with leather - and I have all of the paperwork to prove it.

The original owner thought about getting t-tops, too, but thought that would draw attention and void his deal - since he wasn't a police agency.

Anyone interested in buying it let me know (rlk911@ameritech.net) .

As previous member stated, B4C was !Not! an option, it was a package offered to Law enforcement agencies. Some were purchased by a few lucky people.
My 92 had R/S badges on the ground effects to rear of front wheels, and rear bumper, right side. Nothing about Z-28.
I have seen a LOT of newer body style B4C's from many states and have Never, Never! seen ONE that has had the Z-28 badges anywhere. Now, maybe the present owner might of added them! On my 97 Colo. State car I had vinyl, "generic" B4C badges made up and put these on my 97. Which I thought, after I put them on looked like crap!! I got a LOT of static from the Colo. State Patrol shop foreman, as he thougt they looked crappy also.
I am looking at a B4C special service option sheet from GM and NO where on it lists or gives order # for t-top.
It does however show (at bottom of page) under
Seats, Interior Trim Options,
Cloth bucket 19B
Leather bucket 192
14 options plus the 2 seat options are all that are listed.
If that guy said he could of got a t-top , I would be leary of what he said.
Do you have the original window sticker? If you do, "Lucky You"
I believe UHP Camaro is probably one who really knows these B4C's as he is really into this specfic model of camaro.
At least you really got an interesting addition to the thread going.

I have build sheet/window sticker, you name it!

No Z28 badges anywhere, 155 mph speedometer, I know what I have.

1995 B4C Pkg (according to my sticker) consists of:

5.7 Liter V8
6 spd manual
A/C
dual exhaust
16" alum wheels
P245/50ZR16 S/B rad tires
4 wheel disc brakes
engine oil cooler
limited slip rear axle
3.42 rear axle ratio
140 amp alternator
ride and handling suspension system

Add to that other options:

delco-bose
LEATHER BUCKET SEATS (option 122 - graphite leather)
p/w
power driver side seat
cruise
pdl
rwd
keyless remote
twin elect sport mirrors
fog lamps
body side moldings
power hatch release
carpeted floor mats

Same options show up on build sheet and GM vehicle inquiry sheet (which the dealer ran for my VIN# when I first had some fluids changed out.

So you're right - leather wasn't part of B4C package - but that doesn't mean you couldn't get leather --- if you could get one at all!

I also have a 1994/1995 "Popular Mechanics" article about these "Cop Cars". It basically challenged a private citizen to try to get a B4C 'cause the article said "it couldn't be done, you had to have a fleet # to order!"

The previous owner took that as a challenge, went dealer-to-dealer, almost gave up and bought a Z28, until he was tipped off and told whom to order from.

He would have bought t-tops, too, but was afraid the deal would be questioned by GM and fall through.

I would really like to learn more about my car and B4C's in general, but can't find any information on the anywhere. Do you guys know where i could find any info? I'd really appreciate it. All i know is that my car is a B4C that was a government vehicle b/c it has the GAM option in the RPO codes, which makes sense b/c i bought it from the US postal inspectors. I only found one website a while back that said they only made 70 GAM cars in 95. I'd appreciate any info!
Thanks
