German Syntec and the summer months

Hello, is German Syntec fine to run in the summer months? I always ran Mobil1 0 weight til the summer then switched to 10W30.

I live in Pa. Our summers aren't like those in Texas and such, but we do get our 90 degree days, thanks

The German Castrol 0w-30 is thicker than M1 10w-30.

Wow, that is interesting. I have been using this since Febuary and I really noticed a difference overall between this and M1 zero weight.

The German Castrol is a Group IV synthetic whereas Mobil 1 is rumored to now be Group III. I'm not sure that makes a hill of beans worth of difference. I'm running the German Castrol in my Jeep and will consider running it in my Z when I get it running. In the past I've always run Mobil 1. Right now I have Walmart Super Tech 5W-30 in the engine. That will be coming out when the car is driveable.
