Just checked my K&n and its filthy... going to go buy the charger kit... it was covered in a dirt and moisture grime that was think not enough to cake off but you never would have known the filter was originally purple... about how much HP do you think i was loosing there? 1? 5? 10?
also, my wipers have gone to **** what kind/size/whatever should i look for and where?

For soem reason my z28 wipers were hard to find..... I was driving in my neighborhood and a guy stopped me and gave me some free one's.... said he used to own a x28 and the wipers were very hard to find, he had to order them from GM..... anyways, they are a PITA to get on and off.

if you had replaced your regular air filter with a K+N air filter, then i doubt you were gaining anything. i myself dont think that a $50 stock replacement air filter is worth the money. Save and get a CAI..you'll get better gains! As for the wipers, i think they are ''24 in length and i have picked up my set at my local Advance Auto store. Good luck.
