Gears and TC Improvement

I have 2.73's in my A4 94 Z28 Vert. Running around a 14.1 @ 99 now. Planning on getting 3.73's and 2800 stall. Given that I get the same amount of traction as now, how much could I expect my ET to drop.....and will my mph go up or down? I expect around a 13.4.....is this about right? Also, will I be at risk of shifting into 4th by the end of the 1/4 mile?

Half a second is not out of the question, but how do you plan on getting it to the ground? You're going to need some sticky tires, or else you can possibly run worse.

3.73' s on an A4 with stock size tires will be a combo.
120mph in 3rd gear be about 6500rpm

you will need at least drag radials to get traction.
your sixty foot times should be 1.7-1.8 with that combo
and you should see mid to low 13's

your butt o meter will like the stall/gears

you mph will stay about the same or maybe drop a little.

2.73 to 3.73 swap gave me a good .25-.3 tenths and ~2mph
