I'v e searched, but I think this question hasn't came up yet. I was wondering if I could throw a gear drive in with an electric Wp instead of a timing chain..Is there one out there for the lt1...or one for an lt1w/ ele. WP?

ya thats a good question , i have had people ask me that and i wasn't sure.

You can use a standard SBC gear drive, but the noise will make the knock sensor go crazy and it will do funky things. Just go with a Cloyes true Roller for about $80
