gaskets

where is a place where i can get the complete gasket set for a good *** price?

I looked and looked and summitracing.com was the cheapest at $193 . If youre looking for a cheap gasket set, this is not the motor for you as i found it out also!! Good luck. BTW It is a speed pro kit but the box says fel pro.

Most of the time you don't need a complete gasket set. When I rebuilt my engine, I bought individual gaskets from Auto Zone, Advanced Auto and GM and didn't spend more than $120.

I just bought that speed pro kit from Summit. The gaskets look good, especially the head gaskets. I think it's a good deal. It doesn't hurt to have a few spare gaskets on hand either. That kit comes with seals too: rear main oil seal, optispark cover seals, and viton valve seals.
