gasket set for LT1?

Where do I get the best price for a complete heads and cam swap gasket set?

I have seen the Thunder racing site and they offer a set for $170 on sale right now. Is this a good price, or can someone like Jason Cromer get a better price for me?

I thought someone here has done this swap before and knows what these cost.

Thanks

Joe

I would go with the Thunder Racing set. Summit Racing has a complete set made by Trick Flow, and it comes with an oil pan gasket...which you probably don't need. That set will cost you $318.! If you need an oil pan gasket...you can get one from your local GM dealer for about $50.

Thanks man. I didn't know if that was a good price, but it sounds like a pretty good one to me after hearing about summit.

Thanks

When I went through my whole engine, I did not need every little gasket, but only spent $117. That was buying some gaskets at the local auto supply and some from GM (Dal).

If you need to replace nearly every gasket, the set may be a reasonable deal.
