gasket sealer

whats a good gasket sealer to use on the egr hose block off plate that won't mess with the computers?

I just made one earlier from some sheet metal. I just used black RTV gasket maker, I don't see why any type of gasket sealer would mess with the computers though...

i got the block off plate made. and i didn't know if the fumes on some sealers would do anything or not!

After 48 hours the gasket maker should fully cure and should stop emitting any fumes.
