Gasket remover...

Isn't there some stuff that makes removing old gaskets much easier? I am having a hard time getting the old water pump gasket removed from the motor. I can hardly get my hands in there to peel and scrape.

I used a gasket scraper bought from AutoZone. Nothing more than a razor blade on a stick.

I bought some stuff made by Permatex that is gasket disolver. It doesn't take the stuff off completely, but if you spray it on and let it sit for a min. or two, and then come back to scrape, it'll scrape off much easier and cleaner. You will still have to scrape though.
