02s are expensive.....

As far as the guage mine goes almost another full 1/4 mark past "F". When it shows 3/4 I have maybe 1/2 left. If it gets down to 1/4 I have to start looking quick. Stays at full forever then drops to empty within a few miles.

My guage plays the SAME game with me. GRRRR

Id say when you fill up and it goes waaaay past the F and doesnt move for about 70 miles and then drops hella fast is a sign of innacurate gauges, dont matter what the gas tank is shaped like (eventhough what you say makes sense since it is shaped like an upside down triangle). Or when you turn, it moves easily a quarter tank... that sounds pretty innacurate...

Can plug wires affect gas mileage? I'm ceraintly running my stockers and was going to replace them with autolite stock replacements but my brother had issues with those. I am debating whether or not to buy a quality set (Taylor, MSD, etc). The car pulls hard with no breakup since doing plugs. But could adding a new set (better than stock) inprove my mileage?

Mine too, I thought it was trying to trick me..so I kept on crusing on E for a while until I ran out out of gas. Yup, I felt really dumb then.

Unless your car has a miss or something bad with the wires, changing them to better ones wont do anything for you. Wires are not performance mods... just precautions.
