Gas Mileage Question

With a full tank of gas, my car can go about 185-200 miles without filing up again. Does that sound right to you guys?

Doing city driving on a stalled auto, that sounds right.

If I do about 70% city on my m6, skip shifting I pull about 230 miles a tank.

Thanks guys... I was planning to do a fuel injection cleaning just because of the freakin gas price! Maybe I should just go to walmart and buy a fuel injection cleaning to see if it will help.

Be careful. I did one of those "fuel system cleaners" and it made mylifter's click by removing the coating on them. God it still annoys me.

it shouldn't hurt your car when putting the fuel injection cleaner. This is the first time I heard bad stuff about it... Is it still making that noise

I have a auto and last tank I got around 260 and it was about out, I do have 3.42's in it. I have gotten 324 on one tank. I wished it would get conistent 300 miles a tank, I think thats reasonable. But its getting about 18.7 miles a gallon right now.

wow, your gas mileage is way better than mine if you are talking about local driving.....
I am only hitting 180-200 for a full tank!
