gas milage problems with hotcam'd T/A

hi there,

i finally got the car on the road this weekend, i recently installed a LT4 HOTCAM and edelbrock TES headers Y-pipe and 1.6rr.

nothing else has been done to the car while it was in storage. i have 3.73 gears and my A/F is about stoch most of the time..
except when i just start the car, it runs rich for 2 mins or so.

what can i do, i filled the car up sunday and i have driven 80 miles and the needle has started to register at the full mark. in the past that left me 80 miles till empty!!!!

so what can i do to get better gas milage, i replaced my O2 sensors and clean my TB% sensor and Idle stepper motor.

i still have a stock catback...would that be hurting my gas milage?

i would check your fuel filter, injectors, and most people on this board have solved gas milage problems by replacing plugs and wires, an inadequate ignition system will lead to horrible gas mileage......hope this helps.

Do you have tuning for the hotcam yet? I picked up around 80 miles more to the tank after I got a pcmforless.com tune.

i installed new taylor wires during the cam and the old plugs (AC delco's) had like 15k on them!! i also have the tune from bryan

so does the fuel filter (15k).... tires are at 34 psi and the car runs like a champ over 800 rpm. at 800 or below its crazy chuging like a raped ape on a paint mixer sounds great.

anyways, would my catback be bottle necking my exhaust..causing bad MPG... i mean i know what i did to this car and its not for MPG...but i want the best i can get..since its my daily driver for 8 months
