Gas inside throttle body/intake?

Is there supposed to be gas coating the backside of my throttle body and inside my intake? are my injectors leaking? could that cause my loss of power?

No and Yes. Check your fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose to see if its leaking fuel into the plenum.

My money would be on the fuel pressure regulator.

If you are refering to a thin black crappy layer on everything... it is pretty normal. I've had 3 LT1 cars, all did it. I clean the TB once a year.

If it is actually dripping in gas, Id put my $$ on the regulator.

Are you sure it's gas and not just oil from a K&N air filter (if you have one) ?

The car doesn't have to be running. If the Regulator is ruptured then there will be fuel in the hose whether or not it's running. Either way would be ok.
