Gas Gauge goes "SLUUUURRRRRRPPPPP"

After I fill my tank up, my needle will stay above F for quite a while. Then from full to 1/2-5/8 it's about normal. From 1/2 down, the needle would leave a tracer if it went any faster. Is this normal or only my prob?

Absolutely normal. A search will find more input. This is discussed frequently.

Everyone has this problem.
I fill mine up when it hits half unless I plan on doing some serious racing cause my car seems to like it better at between 1/4 and 1/2.

It's not a problem man, it's the way it is. Do as shoebox said and search for the topic.
