Gains with Hotcam and stall

If your running 13.6's without the cam & stall you're probably looking at maybe tall 12's even a 12.8 isnt out of the question. My best run was a 13.25 with the complete LT4 setup and stall! But i had traction problems and a bad egr valve plagued my whole season. Once everthing was taken care of i had to fix an exhaust baffle then a fouled up spark plug topped off my list, I guess it never ends! Did i mention a bad set of nitto's.
Anyway don't forget tuning it is essential to this setup! I still don't have tuning! I forgot, how many miles on you motor? I am approaching 38k on the new shortblock! Best of luck to yah!
You got Dot drag tires or Et streets right! You will need them with the stall, gauranteed wheel turning, rubber smoking enjoyment!
I hope this helped.
Be sure to get Extreme duty LT4 timing components; water pump drive gear ect. Because if not you can rip the teeth off the stock gear! (just looked at your mods so disregard tires/U got them) Yah with ET streets maybe a 12.7 let me know!
Ya know 3:73.1's gears in this setup would be ideal, Just a suggestion! I never had 3:42.'s so i dont know!

Get rid of the ET streets, they will rob some top end power, you don't and won't have enough power to take advantage of them yet with the HOTcam. BFG drag radials would work better for you IMO.

I got the same set-up going in with my 383 soon. That was the stall the tranny shop suggested I go with. When do you plan on putting it in??? I would like to know your gains.

thanks.

I had a 94z with all the bolt ons and a slp 2400 stall, and hot cam kit. I ran 13.0 at 109. If I could have hooked up it would have been a low to mid 12's
my 60 was 2.2 with nitto dr's
whatever you do dont put on eibach pro kits, they would not allow the car to hook. Maybe it would have with lca relocation brackets.
good luck

I think it sounds like your running a little slow for your current mods. LT's,3.42's,CAI,and exhaust should have you running in the low 13's I think. Like 13.2-13.3. With the addition of a stall and a hotcam 12's shouldn't be a problem at all. There are a lot of guys on this board running mid to low 12's with a hotcam. Make sure you get a good tune. I agree that ET streets are probably too much tire for your setup. I'm just suprized at your times I guess, you even have suspension mods. FYI I ran a 13.7 @ around 101 with just a CAI, cutout, and Nitto's. I actually still spun a little bit. 95' Z A4 with 2.73's at the time.
