gains/gearing???

since i dont know how to put my mods in the sig, I have a 96 Camaro Z28 w/ 195,000 miles on the ticker, i have K & n cold air, ported and polished maf, trick flow elbow, pacesetter long tubes, off road y pipe, magnaflow catback, before i ran at the track w/ out any of the exahst mods, all i had done was the cold air and tb bypass and ported maf, how much of a gain should i expect w/ the new exhast set up, i went from 2 cats to zero,

My other question i how would i go about setting up my 373 gears, should i have someone else do it, calibrate the computer? im confused. my best at the track w/ a cold air and tb bypass and maf was 14.08 @ 99.98 mph. Thanks guys, hope you can help.

Re: gains/gearing???

as for the gears i would have some one else doit unless your very patient and have very little money
i set up my 4.11 and i did a good job on it but it took 2 weeks and unless being paid i would not do it again
and for getting the comp clibrated i would send it to one of the boards resident tuners madz or pcm4less and i can tell you that with the tune in there it felt alot stronger than with the stock tune
and with the exhaust and gears i would expect to see mid 13's maybe better depending on how you drive and traction

Good lord, nearly 200k miles, and it still ran a 14 flat at nearly 100 mph, with nothing more than a CAI and TB bypass?

LT1's are damn beasts.

Wow, 200K and still running that good. Thats impressive.

I agree with FryedCluthc have someone else install the gear, they can be very tricky for someone who has not done it before. Same goes for the PCM, get it tuned. Call up Madz or PCMforless and they'll hook you up.
