G2 cold air vs others...........any proof?

I have had the G2 cold air for over 3 years now and I am wondering if another one would give me significantly better gains. I have seen many post on the subject and people generally say to stay away from the G2. Mine has the modified and cut-out air box. So my question is: Does anyone have any proof (dyno numbers or track times) if another cold air set-up is superior to the G2? Thanks.

i think you'll gain between 5-10hp with any intake, so switching to another one would probably yield very little change in power. if you got a SOTP difference after installing it, you're definately not going to get a bigger one from switching cai's

I have never been good at "feeling" the mods. The only one I could feel was after the headers.
I was going to borrow a friend's cold air and test at the track but that never happened. Someone must have done something like this....................

Huh?

Anyways, i was just getting ready to start up a thread that was gonna ask for dyno proof for any CAI, for the sake of not wasting space...does anybody have any dyno sheets for any CAI they have installed??

the idea works but the blade on the throttle body and the curves afterward stops the spin and makes the whole thing pointless. i am curious about the way it would work with a carburetor though
