Don't waste your time or money. It is very little improvement over stock.

If you want a good CAI, go with K&N or Moroso. Stick w/ plastic also, not metal, like the SLP unit.

Good luck.

If you like the looks of the SLP unit, it will perform every bit as good as the plastic ones.

yeah...it sucks...

it's better than stock...but not much.

it uses half of the stock airbox....and reallly doesn't pull "cold air" in, mostly warm engine bay air.

i bought mine for like $125 used with the filter and still think i got ripped off.

stick with morosso or K&N

I'm with these guys. I've heard nothing good about G2 "CAI" systems.

Any other brand besides the G2 is about the same in performance but some are a little more expesive due to being more pretty or just name brand. So just forget the G2 and get a real CAI.

That leaves me with one question, SLP or MOROSO?

Also, on the elbow should I go with the one that comes with the V6 (it's the same as the V8 it just is sealed up at the bottom).

I like SLP over Moroso. SLP looks like the two filters go deeper down than the Moroso. I plan on switching out my K&N for a SLP shortly.

Just depends on how much you want to spend and how much you like looks compared to plastic looks. Its just up to you. The SLP does look better but does cost more. It is also a pain to clean so I hear but dont quote me on that.

I've seen a Moroso crack under lots of power...I think K&N is a bit stronger...SLP will of course not break...

I like my K&N...
