Exclamation Full LE2 package + 125 shot + STOCK bottom end?! ---

I am about to order a FULL LE2 package ( heads, cam, ported intake) and want to use my 125 shot of n20 ... BUT I still have the stock bottom end. I have EVERY supported mod everywhere else. Will I be fine, or is just the LE2 stuff on a stock bottom pushing my luck? Opinions are appreciated, THANKS ---

I think you'll be fine. Dont go crazy with the spray and the bottom end should hold up.

I think thats really pushing it!! The LE2 on its own is about the limits of the stock bottom end

I'm a heads/cam car on a 125 shot too, if it blows up I'll let you know.

I would keep the idea of a motor rebuild on the back of your mind. As long as you are getting enough fuel, I can see it lasting awhile.

You're pushing it. The LE2 on a stock bottom end is what I consider the limit just because of the rpm's you'll be running and to add a 125 shot on top of that might blow your motor.

How many miles are on it? I'm going to be running a similar setup next year but have a rebuilt 355.

Yeah thats pushing it in my book. I would be worried about those stock pistons and rods. If you had ARP hardware in the rods, forged pistons, and main studs then you might be a little more safe.

It's pushing it, but I'd do it, as long as I have a budget for a built shortblock just in case.

The car is SUPPOSEDLY a 355 rebuilt 20K miles ago, but I cant seem to trust what the guy has said about other mods, so the odometer says 130,000, lol.

Maybe I should just go with a 75 shot, and rejet to the 125 after I get a full rebuild? Its the ZEX dry kit and it only comes on WOT, and uses an electronic fuel management box to control everything so it should be solid.

THANKS AGAIN ---

You will need a good sized injector to run a dry kit on that setup. Your injectors will be close to being maxed on motor alone.
