Fuel Systems

I was thinking about going with a completely new fuel system for my car. I'm talking injectors, regulator, pump, etc. In all ur opinions, who do u think makes the best complete fuel system? Or what brands would u use to piece together a full fuel system? thanx for the opinions as always.

Personally by looking at your mods there is no need to go with a different fuel system. I would recommend doing a different pump when your stock pump goes bad.

AS far as brands I would recommend going with a 255 lph Walbro Fuel pump.
Injectors - 30 lb SVO injectors when you do heads
Regulator- Hypertech or Accel

Agreed... you will gain absolutely nothing with any revisions to the fuel system at this point. When you need more fuel... 450HP or more, then consider an upgraded system. Which components you chose, and how you hook them all together will depend on how you plan to go over 450HP... probably will involve a major power adder.... blower, nitrous, turbo... and each of those systems has its unique fuel system requirements.

My personal preference for fuel pumps is the Bosch "984" pump.. will support 500HP (I run two of them), and can be installed in the tank, inline, or in parallel off an external sump. Depends whether you are looking for high pressure (inline pump to support dry nitrous) or high volume (parallel). SX makes a great billet fuel filter. Weldon AFPR's are good - although they need to be mounted "external" to the fuel rails. The Bosch pintle-style injectors seem to be reasonably popular, in sizes up to 83#/HR. Then you need to convert the lines to braided -AN style.... how much do you want to spend? .

You will not be happy with an Aeromotive Fuel system. I think you are better off going with a Walbro 255 lph and some 30 lb injectors. No need to waste your money on a setup that will be overkill on your setup
