So in my 94z m6 the exhaust really smells like fuel. Is this just because of the cat being gutted or maybe o2s??

 

Yes, your lack of catalytic converter can cause a richer-than-usual smell. The converter burns unburned and partially burned fuel. Did you just gut the cat?

 

no it was like that when I bought the car about 5 months ago. It just seems to smell more now that I have the magnaflow on instead of the flowmaster idk prb nothing. It has a slight shutter/miss sometimes so still have to fix that hopefully plugs and wires.
