fuel line tool necessary?

Is it necessary to have the fuel line release tool to remove the fuel lines? If so, what is the correct size for a '93?

I just got a really cheap one at autozone. It has two sizes and one fit just fine, I can't remember but I think it was the bigger of the two.

ifyour in a pinch i think you could just find something that will fit betwen the line and the conector and use that.
But auto zone has one for GM autos that i got for less then $5

There different sizes so like shoebox said you need both the 3/8s and 5/16s, go out and get then from auto zone, dont be cheap. Trying to use a screw driver can mess the plastic up easily and make it a bigger pain in the *** than it has to be, trust me I know. Because when we did the Walbro on my TA we didnt have the fuel line disconnect tool and it made it a lot harder than it had to be.
