Fuel line questions
Fuel line questions
Ok, this may be a stupid question but I don't want to mess anything up.
Changeing the fuel filter will I have to remove the pressure from the fuel line first? or can I just pull the old one off and hook the new one?

you need to let the pressure out of the line. you find the schreader valve thats on the fuel rail it will have a small black plastic cap over it. if you have a 93 it will be on the pass. side of intake. 94-96 will be on the back. you screw off the plastic cap and let the pressure out just lick you would a valve stem on the tire. put plastic cap back on. then you can undo the line that go to the fuel filter. there will still be fuel flowing out for a second but thats it.
