I have a 94 z28 auto...under hard acceleration there is a gas smell in the car...there are no leaks from the tank or the fuel lines...I believe that the smell is coming from the engine bay...I have check the engine at idle and cannot see any leaks form the fuel lines, the fuel rail, or the injectors...not sure what else it could be...any ideas would be great...Thanks

There's a charcoal canister mounted in the driver's side rear wheel well. The canister may be failing or the vacuum line to it may be disconnected causing the fuel smell.
