Are fuel injectors numbers same as cylinders?
Are fuel injectors numbers same as cylinders?
Are fuel injectors numbered the same as the pistons. 1357 on drivers, 2468 on passenger in that order?
I believe someone switched 2 and 4, is it possible that that was causing a missfire?

Re: Are fuel injectors numbers same as cylinders?
It seems like that was the miss, i switched them and car runs a lot better now, i need to give it a few days to make sure. I cant believe i didnt notice it all this time and ive had my car almost a year. I definentally did not ever mess with the injectors before.
The timing has to be better now that its wired correctly.
The missfire is strange because it comes and goes at odd times. I think the pcm does adjusting to counter the switch and whenever it gets to acertain point, it fixes it.

Re: Are fuel injectors numbers same as cylinders?
the injector connectors on the wiring harness should have the injector number on it. I once installed them with 1 and 3 switched and it ran okay at low rpm's but caused knock at higher rpm's
