So Iam putting the 97 dash in my car. Stupid me rips up a bunch of wires and forgot that a 97 under dash wiring harness wont work in my 93 Z28. So after a few sparks, I plug everything up and plug the 97 wiring harness into the harness that comes out of the engine compartment there is nothing. So I put in my old wiring harness and wiring everything back together and my car starts. Then after like 2 seconds it dies, and wont start again. It turns over and over but wont start. So I listen for the fuel pump and you can hear it working when you first turn the key. I followed the fuel all the way up to the injectors and they are as dry as a bone. So my friend put fuel in the intake manifold manually and it ran for as long as the fuel lasted. Then he said he thinks that I messed up my computer by plugging in a wrong wiring harness. Is this why my fuel injectors are not firing. Would a messed up computer cause them not to fire? Somebody PLEASE help, my car has been sitting for the last month and I just got done doing the LS1 front end conversion.
