Fuel injector Questions...

Put back together theintake manifold... just curious... my Felpro gasket kit... came complete with a bunch of crap. TB gasket... Injector O rings... ETC... just wondering ... is it necessary to replace the injector o-rings? THe old ones seem annoying to get off... is it worth the struggle?

Could be,to prevent a vacuum leak, that you can't find.Lube the new ones with white lube AKA #105 grease.Take them off carefully with a pick or knife or pocket screwdriver.Could also prevent a fuel leak.

I have used the Fel pro gasket kit and always use the other gaskets, throttle body , injector O-rings and EGR tube. Once intake is removed, remove the 4 fuel rail bolts and the injectors come out easy. Actually I leave the fuel rail off until intake is installed, it makes it much easier to install the intake without the fuel rail because the 2 fuel lines catch on the wiring harness while trying to install intake. Once intake is in place, install new injector O-rings and lube them with silicone, install fuel rail, install 4 bolts. One other thing is that the Fel-pro throttle body gasket has a cut out (unlike the factory one) that will allow you to adjust the throttle stop screw if you need to.
