got a set of bosch greens (42lb) online for what seems like too good of a price. The numbers are there, on both sides, and look identical to boschs. Some of the people I've talked to said they could be legit. I guess my question is is there any surefire way to tell? I've seen YouTube videos and even the Chinese ones didn't cut off til 70psi, which I'd never push anyway. Thanks
I would not run those. EVEN IF they are 42lb injectors most of the late model ones are set up for multi-valve engines. These are the Ford/Bosch 42lb injectors to use.
Are you going turbo/supercharged/nitrous?

Legitimate retailers sell those for $60-70/each. On ebay they are $8 each, new. If you paid closer to $8 than $60, you got fakes.

What is the difference in injectors set up for multi-valve engines?
I think that's questionable. It would be true if you were talking about direct injection but port fuel injection, in my opinion, couldn't tell the difference. Can you point me to a technical paper or article on the subject?

Correct. Those injectors are listed as an “upgrade” for the injectors used in the Ford (Australia) Falcon with the 5.4L XR6 Turbo engine. That's a DOHC V8 with 4-valves per cylinder.
Well,, since you took the info from a ten year old post that has no back up information (I understand the poster works for a fuel injector company) you have to realize it's still just an opinion.. I'll submit to you that the SAE thinks the only difference will be on startup emissions as evidenced by their paper written in 2005. Anyway, thanks for the discussion.Have a good day...
