I just bought the bosch #30 fuel injectors and I can't get the clips to go on. the ring on the injector isn't all the way around. do i have to use clips?

I would. You don't want those things to move around. After some time they can wiggle loose and you could get fuel all over.

You don't have to, but it's good for safety. You can use a dremel to make a full ring on the injectors. That's what I did on a set of LS1s...

with the fuel rail bolts tightened i see the part above the o-rings. the injectors won't push down any further because of the fuel rail. what gives?

Re: fuel injector clips

I assume you mean the lower part of the injector where it goes into the manifold? That's normal if you can see the top of the o-ring.

Re: fuel injector clips

I installed the stock clips in the upper groove of the injector, this kept the top of the injector from going too far into the fuel rail, and the o rings are now just a tad deeper and no longer visible...
