Just put in a new AC Delco fuel filter. Its leaking on the thread side. I drove around to see if it leaks and sure enough it does. The quick connect side is fine. The position of the thread on the fuel line changed a little because it moved slightly toward the filter when I was screwing it on. Does it matter how far the line is into the filter fitting or is it my dumb@ss that just didnt tighten it tight enough?

 

I just put one on. I tightened it till it was tight. No problems, no leaking. Tighten it down more.

 

I figured my error was not tightening it enough. Thanks a lot.
