Front seal question
Front seal question
Figure while I got everything apart up front I might as well change the front seal. Its not that major of a leak but why not get it done now.
My question is, should I expect oil to pour out? I JUST changed the oil, literally haven't even cranked it yet with the new oil. I'm making a trip to get a new opti tomorrow and while I'm there I just want to know if I'm going to need more oil.
Thanks
Ryan

I wasn't originally intending to do the seal, but decided once I had everything off, I decided hey why not. At that point I had already changed the oil it was just spur of the moment.
As long as you didn't put in 15 quarts it shouldn't leak out
I wouldn't worry about the dirt so much, just clean the area real well before you pull the hub and put the seal right on and the hub back in before anything has a chance to get in there.
