Front left wheel sensor?

Hey guys:

Got the ABS and traction light on in my 95 Z28. Scanned it and got the front left wheel sensor. Tried cleaning the connector, but no go. I understand that the sensor is not changable with replacing the bearing. Is that true? Anyone had this before and have any suggestions.

Thanks very much.

Right, you'd have to replace the whole hub. You might also double check the pins to make sure they're contacting well before you toss the old one out.

Given that pads and rotors are on your to-do list, you'll be more than halfway there.

1. Remove wheel
2. Unbolt and suspend caliper
3. Slide off rotor
4. Unbolt hub (4 bolts)
reverse to re-install. Make sure the hub bolts are torqued and lock-tite'd.

Thanks Dave, unfortunatly ive just got my rears to do for breakes and pads

But sounds easy enough, I've had the calipers off before so it shouldn't be a problem.
