Front End Squeals/Squeaks-No glove box data tag
It's more of a howl I guess. Kinda' like a pump sound{its not}, rubbing tires {its not}Wheel bearings felt good last time it was in the air. What are the possibilities? I'm hard of hearing, so this is killing me.
If it is a squeal that is rotational in nature, it just about has to be the bearings (assuming no tire rubbing). If it is a vibration, it could be tires. You could rotate them to see if anything changes. I am also assuming the noise is not coming from the power steering pump.
If it makes a whining when you crank the wheel it's probably low on power steering fluid as Shoebox said. You also said your hard of hearing.. me too.. sure it's not the belt or a bearing on a pulley? I know how hard it is to figure out where the sound is in fact coming from and how it sounds different for you and I probably than it does for others
Good luck tracking it down.
