Talking Fresh Offf the Dyno - Hotcam #s

RWHP = 349.5 @ 6400
RWTQ = 351.6 @ 4500

I've gotta say...

The program is perfect. The A/F ratio was nearly flat through the entire pull and the power and torque curves are really smooth. It looks like I'll be in the mid 12's this year.

Mods:

Stock = MAF with screen, Throttle body, Intake, and Heads

LT4 Hotcam Kit
4.10 Gear
SLP 94-95 Headers
No Cats
SLP Loudmouth
Home Made CAI
TB Flow Booster
MSD 6 Ignition
Taylor Wires & NGK TR55 plugs
160 degree thermostat
TB bypass mod
Deleted EGR & Airpump
Chassis mods by BMR, SLP, & Kenny Brown

Hey Scott. Where did you dyno the car? Nice #'s. Also you do have a bit of head work too right?

How much work did you do to the heads? Did you put bigger valves in or did you have runner work done? What did the heads flow?

Nice #s by the way?

Tell me those aren't on stock heads without any work to them because if they are, I'm depressed with my numbers

I'm currently looking at a cam swap. I was looking at one of the kits from Combination Motorsports, but it sounds like the programing for the Hot Cam is better, since it's worked with more. Plus I'd be happy with numbers like yours. Maybe, I'll start looking into the Hot Cam a bit more. Nice numbers.

Wow, great numbers. Thats about the most I've seen with a Hotcam. Bryan definately has the hotcam figured out.

The heads have never been touched! I had it dyno'd at Speed Inc. with about 30 other MFBA members. Everyone was impressed (especially me) with the results given the current mods. I was hoping for at least 330 hp but I never expected 350!

FYI - it was pretty cool today (about 35 degrees) and the car was cold when the put it on the rollers. I'm sure that has something to do with the numbers.

Don't you think you are being a bit harsh? There are some factory freaks that run low 13's stock. Maybe your friend has one of these cars? Maybe your friend has some head work done too.

Then again, maybe your friend is imaginary... With comments like this you wont be making more.
