Found a random wire...where does it go?
Found a random wire...where does it go?
I was putting WD40 on my shifter today and attempting to clean some of the crud that seems to end up in the shifter boot when I made a discovery.
There is a 5" wire that ends in a little adapter that leaves from a big bunch of wires at the top of the area that is exposed when you take off the area of the center consol that has the ash tray and the shifter cover.
I could not find anywhere to plug the adapter in on my car and as far as I know if has not been attached since I have owned it (3 years).
Any ideas?? Person who correctly identifies it first and tells me what to do with it wins....umm....one MILLION dollars
Thanks,
Matt

It's not the lightbulb...that one is already hooked up.
I think the car has always been a stick...how would I check?
I will try to take a pic.
Thanks for all the guesses...keep them coming.
