Update... Changed the plugs and they didn't help it at all. The car runs perfect at part throttle and cruising. There is no popping or missing and it also doesn't miss at any RPM at part throttle. I took it up to 6K at 50% throttle and it never missed a beat. I guess I'll try an ignition box next.

Are you OBDI or OBDII? I think you answered before, but I forgot.

You mentioned that the NGK TR6s are a 1/2 heat range hotter than the TR55s... are you sure?

NGK says that the TR6 is actually colder than a TR55.

Your plugs seem to be a rich condition. They don't look oily to me.

I said the autolite 104's are supposidly 1/2 heat range hotter than the tr6's. I know the tr6's are a heat range colder than the tr55's, thats why I'm running them.

OBDII. My tuner said he couldn't think of any real advantage to switching to OBDI since they both have their advantages and disadvantages. It never did this with any of my other h/c combo's so I don't think its a PCM issue.

Two other CA guys (not including myself) switched to OBDI and ridded ourselves of the dreaded miss.

Did you guys have the same symptoms? And whats involved in an OBDI switch? I've never really researched it, all I know is you need an obdI pcm and an obd1 knock sensor. Can you load the same tune into an obd1 pcm, or do you have to start from scratch?

Similar symptoms. I had Jeff Creech load my tune into my OBDI PCM. Other than switching the PCM and KS (which I understand you don't even need to do that anymore with some circuit soldering), the switch is fairly painless.

Thanks, I'll keep my eye out for OBDI pcm's for sale.

How much overlap on the cam? Could play havoc with your o2's.

02's have nothing to do with WOT performance.

Yup, but they do at idle. So unless you have zero time idling...
