Forged Eagle + SRP Stroker kit...Good price??

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...941746929&rd=1

I found this on ebay, and it seems like a pretty good deal. They will internally balance it for 100 dollars too.

Its a non twist 4340 crank, eagle H-beams, and ANY SRP forged piston you want.

What do you guys think? Is it a good price?

If anyone needs to know ill be doing a 383(4.030"bore X 3.75"Stroke X 6.0" rod) and i will probably be doing either a turbo kit or nitrous, and i want have a stout bottom end. Im also doing a splayed 4 bolt main conversion.

Look's to be a decent price.. I would def. look into getting the upgraded L19 bolt's as well as letting your engine builder handle the balancing of the bottom end.. Sound's like you have a good lil plan going.. why not go w/ a smaller rod for more comp. height and some thicker ring land's? for n20 or turbo? make sure you specify that you'll be going forced induc. or n20 as the material's in the piston' differ a bit from a off the shelf n/a piston if i'm not mistaken..

Yes, that is a great deal, about $400 less then what I payed when I got my rotating assy. I went with Scat but eagle and Scat are normaly the same price so a 4340 crank, 4340 H-beams, SRP pistons, and file to fit plasma moly rings for $1,439.00 is a great deal. FWIW my assembly did internaly ballance W/O heavy metal and it is definatly the way to go.

Internally ballanced is deffinetly the way to go. You'll need to either have your flywheel or flex plate internally ballanced as well. I've also heard though that the kits that people are paying extra for the preballancing are not ballanced that well. The guy that built my engine said that he's seen several that he had to reballance.
