Yep you don't have them down yet....

Why TDC? you need to make sure the cam is on the base circle before you check them.

bringing the #1 clyinder to TDC allows me to adjust certain rockers. then #6 TDC lets me do the rest. the cam is supposed to be on it's base circle then i guess. do you have any other suggestions for adjustment? i can't do it when the car is running because i can't hear the ticking it's supposed to make when you loosen a rocker. i went back to the pushrod method and got it the quietest it's been, but it still sounds like noise from the passenger side a little. definately getting better though

I don't know how to say it much better....

Could have a busted lifter or your measurements for the PR could be off as well.

well, i'll keep at it. all the clips are in tact. They should be working, but we'll see i guess.
