Ive got a fog light out in my 97 camaro. Whats the best way to replace it. How do you get the lens off to change it.

Thanks in advance

You dont...it has a bulb that goes in thru the back. I pull the pins on either side of the housing and take out the adjusting screw and then pull the housing out .

There is a small bolt on the side and a torx screw on the front that is spring loaded. Undo those, take out the housing and then take out the bulb. Water came out of mine, so did a bunch of glass from the shattered bulb.

EDIT: Plastic clip is on the side actuall, its kind of a pain in the ***.

I've just slid my hand down from above, between the washer fluid res. It does require withstanding some pain. Actually I too have a bulb out, and I think I'll try the above mentioned way instead.

All of my friends have had bubs go out.....If I were you I would just put a whole new foglight in there instead of just replacing the bulb. If you choose to just get the bulb; either don't hardly use them, or get used to changing them.

They last quite some time, I've had mine on the passenger side for over 115,000 miles, I just replaced the drivers side a few weeks ago... took about 5 minutes to do it.
