a flutter i cant get rid of

I have a 96Z I have a flutter while im driving a constant speed but does not do it while acelerating. If i let off the gas it almost quits then it will start ideling fine. it does the same if you stall it up slightly. ANY IDEAS?

Will it do it if it's sitting in the driveway or does it only do it under load?

Check your fuel pressure to start with.....Have someone give it gas while you check it.... have them give it consistent gas like you would be if driving at a constant speed, and see if it drops.....

A4 / M6? Is that anytime at load or only at a small load on the hwy for instance?

Try disconnecting the EGR and plug the vacuum line and see what happens.

I have noticed my fuel pump makin a buzzin noise i will check the fuel pressure first.

I work with him and its a automatic. I have a fuel pressure gauge I will let him use.
