Question Flushing the rad

It's time to flush my rad again, but I forget how much coolant/water to put in.

Anyone know?

TIA

If eveything is empty including the block, it should hold 15 qts. I found out last weekend that the block holds about 2 gallons ( I wasn't able to get the block drain plugs out)

Yes, as mentioned above, chances are that you won't be able to drain all the coolant and so you won't need 15 quarts. I'd recommend getting some distilled water and have a few extra quarts as a backup because it may take a little more fluid to get all the crap out.

If *I* were to do it, I'd just take the radiator out and do it right.

Assuming every hose is drained just short of 2 gallons (15qts - 2 gal)

That was 15 quarts minus 2 gallons = 7 quarts.
