Flowmaster sound?

Answer me this, why does any z28 with the one cat. system (93-94) not have as much interior sound as the two cat. system(95-97). I have the same muffler (80 series flowmaster, #42583) and my pipes run two back all the way back to the back axel. Why is the two cats. so much louder? Explain this to me, no muffler shop can.

it's not really louder than the 1 cat, just deeper. and the interior is way louder. remember that both of the 1 and 2 cat. systems don't have the cats anymore.

I live in SC where emsions test are not used, so we don't have to do that. But removing the cat was the biggest sound change and gain i notice. Considering it's a small thing to do. I say gut your cat if you can get away with it.
