Flowmaster ?

Do they make a 2 chamber flowmaster with outlets on both sides and what size do they make up to?

Also will the flowmaster be raspy and terrible sounding like my Magnaflow system my exhaust has a real tin can rattle sound at highr RPM's does this have to do with my mods in SIG.....

80 series is the Flowmaster designation for crossflow mufflers.

They make cat-backs and all parts can be orderd seperately!

From what I have heard Flowmasters don't flow. They sound very nice, but don't look for performance out of them. I just recently did a little research before I decided to go with the hooker. I am very glad I did. It's a nice sound...the guy who installed it even said "it's got a flowmaster sound to it." It isn't raspy at all which is why I like it so much. I don't like the popping and raspiness that some exhaust give you. I do wish my Hooker Cat-Back was a little louder...but I would sacrifice some loudness for sound quality.

The only muffler that outflows a Flowmaster is the strait through kind (SLP, Ultra Flo)

A muffler is a muffler, There will be no real mind blowing difference between them.

i used the flowmaster cat back it sounds great. this is the 3rd car i have used them on . the bad thing about hooker is the size is only 2.5 inches compared to 3 inches. my flowmaster make more power than a guy a run around withs hooker kit buy almost 15 horse. the cars are almost the same both are 94s. edelbrock headers same cams etc

I have the Flowmaster 80 series, mine is a bit raspy and poppy but only when in open loop (this is due to my gutted cat), when the car runs in closed loop it sounds pretty bad ***. I would however like to get a deeper and sharper sound, what would you guys recomend, i was thinking SLP loudmouth. Opinions?

Well i just talked to MUFFLEX today, thats were my exhaust was done the first time,Denny said that with no cats and the magnaflow muffler being a straight thru design thats why it has that very raspy sound. So im going to have them install a 3.5 inch exhaust from the y-pipe back and use there spintech muffler or he said BORLA is coming out with a new muffler so i might go with that. The reason im going with 3.5 inches is because of the hp im making he said 3 inch isnt enough so i hope this system soaund better then it does now...

the popping comes from the cut out or the off road ypipe could have a lot to do with it. either that or its just the magnaflow. my friend has a cutout with borla and its the loudest thing i think ive heard thats still street legal. when he revs next to my car it sets my alarm off. its loud but sounds like crap cause it pops like crazy. i have a random technologies on my 97, i like it alot.
