Flow Master Cat Back

Anyone have a flow master cat back fomr jegs? They claim a mileage increase along with a hp increase. Any feed back no flames on it because it was free and fixed a problem.

Possibly. It seems like a good setup, it was free and the price was fair compared to others out there. Anyone have one? Any idea how it will sound?

IMO I think it sounds great. I know most people don't like it but I think you get a decent bang for you buck. Just my 2 cents.

It's going to sound okay, and at least flow better than stock. When you start making more power you might want to invest in a $30 cutout. They sound GREAT on LT1's, and no catback flows better Keep your flowmasters, cap your cutout when you're daily driving, and open it up on cruises or at the track...

I've got a flowmaster on my car w/o cat and it sounds good. I've had mine on for about 2 years and will probably be looking for something better before too long. If you've heard one flowmaster you've heard em all! I've heard better mufflers, but hell if it was free then that makes it sound even better!!

See I have a cut out.. Sounds nice, but is to loud inside the car for the family and future children. As a result I am selling the cutout. Also, I ever noticed a huge improvement with it in the 1/4. I think it will be better in the end to have a normal exhaust/cat back because it will not freak out small children inside the car which is a major factor.
