My car was having a horrible bog at low RPM's when the car got hot. Up in the upper rpms the car ran fine. I switched my MSD coil for the stock coil, and this fixed the problem. I have read on this board that other people have had problems with the MSD coils. So buyer beware. Maybe we should get all the people on this board who have had bad MSD coils and write them about their crappy product. My car is a 1995.

What is a GOOD high output coil for our LT1 engines. I am going to look at the crane and acell coils.

 

I think most of the coils are good, based on how many they probably sell, though I did have a bad one about 5 years ago. They replaced it, no problem.

 

The warranty is for only 1 year. I bought this one in 2003.

After looking at all the other performace coils, it looks like the Hypertech has the highest output of all of them.
