You can delete the thread yourself, since you are the author. Did you reply to the thread it was meant to go on?

 

As a reminder, just as shoebox said, if you are the author of the thread YOU can delete it yourself. Just click the "Edit/Delete" button then check the delete box

Now, if I delete this, you wouldn't see what I just said and I'd have wasted my time typing it. So, I'll just close it instead
