fisrt time out with the FMS cam.

took the ss to KCIR this past weekend. first time out with the home ported heads and FMS 233/241 cam. best pass was a 12.10 @ 115.7 w/ 1.82 60ft. she was almost turning 92 mph in the 1/8 also.

that was on drag radials and 17" wheels and zero weight reduction. now i just need to get it to a dyno and see were i should be shifting it at and tweak the tune alittle.

overall im happy as hell. i was hoping for an 11 sec slip but i have a feeling ill be getting that soon enough.

A 11 second slip is definately in your future. Throw some skinnes up front... I bet they will help.

Re: fisrt time out with the FMS cam.

What are the specs on that cam? I'm looking at getting the FMS 227/231, I think it is, but I'm debating on springs right now and would like to get the K-800 since they're cheaper and local. Do you know the max lift for the K-800? Thanks.
